Icky Times...

I'm not a fan of winter, and the other "things" that this time of year brings. First there's the new year's resolutions. Pretty much the same every year. I guess if I made reasonable ones and stuck with it, they wouldn't be the same old ones every year. Then there's the state and local sales tax return for people like me that have their own business, that is due (or should I say was due) on January 31. I completed the forms this morning and of course owe penalties and interest for filing late! Next comes taxes. I can say that I'm ready for them now, but the bummer is that the State of California could be issuing IOU's for those who get refunds (us). Oh and the colds flu that run a muck this time of year! Guess who's home sick today? On the news last night they say we only have about 50% of our waterfall so far which is a worse predicament than last year! Do I even dare to mention about the economy??? Tough times for everyone.
